Chapter Four had a planned mark to make that, by the plan, was supposed to be in Chapter Three. I made the decision to shift that mark into Chapter Four as Chapter Three had already gone on long enough and was full. Shifting it into Chapter Four, however, means that I either come up with some ultra-ludicrous segue, or bite the bullet and start a whole new chapter, Chapter Five, leaving Chapter Four the shortest chapter so far. If you’re interested, here are the stats so far:
- Chapter 1: 5610
- Chapter 2: 4196
- Chapter 3: 5123
- Chapter 4: 2502
Not that it matters.
Right now I’m just trying to wrap my head around the challenge of coming at this next part pretty well blind. I know what needs to happen, but this isn’t going to be the most interesting chapter. The next two after this will be much more interesting, but I have to make the right marks for the rest of the story to work, and I’ve been easy on Little Jimmy so far, so it’s going to be some work.
