Snowy Spring Start

pexels-photo-414659.jpegIt’s been cold, wet and miserable all day. The kind of weather when the only thing is to do school work until you’re bored with that, and then write more of the book.

Yesterday and today have been super productive because that’s the fastest I’ve got a chapter written yet! It might not sound impressive but I can safely commit no more than an hour and a half, perhaps two, in an evening, and I normally write something around a thousand words an hour, so I’m very happy with this!

Okay. So I may have to rewrite it all when I review it.

That’s not right now so I don’t mind.

I’ve got the first piece set for the dinner party, settled on how I want Mr. Matthews’ character to come across and I’ve got Jimmy firmly set to start down the next road of his personal adventure with the threads set for a major event that takes place after the dinner party. Looking at my ‘New Outline’ (for what that’s worth!) the pace picks up quite a bit after this.

So, I’m going to relax the rest of the evening and, since I’m in a good mood, I can tell the world which I’m creating is definitely dystopian because I’ve never had much time for happy endings…

…except for me.
