Well, this is intended to be an accountability blog. The whole idea is that I use this to report progress made in my writing projects, as well as others that make up the rest of life when the writing progress is either stymied or otherwise boils down to ‘I refer the honourable gentleman to the answer I gave a few moments ago.’

You might remember earlier I mentioned “it’s been rough here since Friday,” it turns out that things have only gotten worse on that front.

I can’t say when – not because I’m bound by secrecy, but because I simply don’t know – but at some point in the disturbingly near future I’m going to have to, all of a sudden, stop work for a while, and no, I have no idea how long for either.

Sometimes people get sick. Sometimes the prognosis is terrible. And sometimes they’re members of your family.

So, I intend to continue as best I can with my writing, but that’s not going to be a high priority until the dust settles and, for better or worse, I’m through the other side of this.

Meantime, my ability to keep up with this blog is going to get to be spotty at best, and then it’ll grind to a halt.

Everything, at least as far as my writing and this blog, will be back to normal at some point.

But for now, if you’re following this blog, I hope you’ll forgive the upcoming lack of regularity.
