Cast of Characters
Below you’ll find the primary characters as I bring them into the Black Box Factory world.
Incidentally, I’m currently unclear as to who are the valid copyright holders for the images I’m using. Hopefully using these images falls under ‘Fair Use,’ but if you happen to be the copyright holder and have an issue with the images being posted here, please let me know.
The Weatherstones
Meet the main characters. You’ll experience the changes in the world with a number of characters in the story, but the it centers mostly around these two young retail employees and how they are affected.
The Journalists
Like good journalists, this team works hard to discover what’s happening and get the story out to the world. These characters are inspired by the work of Isobel Yeung’s Vice News reporting on China’s Uighur minority, and I’m physically modeling Amanda Messer on Miss Isobel Yeung. The similarities won’t proceed further than profession and appearance as I won’t be including any real people in this story at all.
The RFA
Their job is to enforce aspects of the law that are beyond the purview of both the military and law enforcement. They’re responsible solely to the Office of the RFA. It’s not easy work, but they stick it out and, apart from exceptions caused by human weakness, remain decent, ordinary men.
