Learning from British Experiences in the Middle East – for a history class, I set out to prove something that, as it turned out, was flat wrong, and instead I ended up drawing straightforward conclusions from three events, these being the Suez Crisis, the end of the Mandate in Palestine and the Aden Emergency.
